TL;DRThe short version

Most school sites lose parents in three seconds: a stock hero, a vague vision line, and a soft CTA. Swap in a real campus photo, one outcome sentence, and a specific next step to lift enquiries.

We audited 40 school websites in South India over the last six months. The pattern is depressingly consistent. The first three seconds tell a parent nothing useful, and the enquiry form is two clicks too deep.

What we audited

ICSE, CBSE, IB, and state board schools. Day schools and boarding. Fees from 60k a year to 12 lakh a year. The problems are not budget. The problems are decisions.

Three above the fold patterns

  • 1

A stock photo of children laughing. Tells a parent nothing.

  • 2

A 14 word vision statement that no one finishes reading.

  • 3

A primary CTA that says 'Know more' instead of 'Apply' or 'Book a campus tour'.

The fix is mostly editing

Replace the hero with a real photograph of your real campus on a real day. Replace the vision statement with one sentence about what your students go on to do. Replace the soft CTA with one specific next step. Enquiry rates move 30 to 60 percent in a month.
